Our firm was founded in 2012 by Noah Hitchcox to exploit the rapid growth of renewables in the UK. Oak and Green works with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver projects by investing and advising at all stages of the project life cycle.

As a firm, we are proud of our track record of maximising landowners’ land values by transforming economically under-utilized land into clean energy sources that pay long dated lease payments and help contribute to a sustainable future. Having completed a significant number of successful  transactions since our founding, we have the experience to ensure a smooth and de-risked sale or purchase. We feel this competency supports our current onshore wind acquisition focus, making us well placed to acquire projects in the most efficient and practical way.

Our current focus is Onshore Wind, Renewable Ground Rents and Residential Roof Top Solar.

However, we are always looking for new investment themes. Broadly, we seek to make long term equity investments into renewable projects which have highly predictable RPI linked cash flows, which are not correlated to the markets and which have a positive environmental impact. We seek to deploy our equity capital into all our opportunities where possible.
